Colton James Colwell 17, of Atascocita, Texas went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2014 after fighting a long courageous battle with cancer. Colton was born on January 31, 1997 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Don Scott Colwell and Jaquelyn Werner. Colton was a Student at Atascocita High School and he loved hunting, fishing, playing sports and spending time with his friends and family. Colton was a very strong young man who was a great son, brother, and friend and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his great grandmother, Ruth Dowdell and grandfather, Bob Colwell. Colton is survived by his mother, Jackie Werner; brother, Will Coleman; father, Scott Colwell, brother, Wyatt Colwell; grandparents, Jayme and Joyce Milton; grandparents, Larry and Debbie Coffman; grandmother Shirley James; grandfather, Earl Massoth; girlfriend, Jamie Wodzisz; and many other relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 from 5pm-8pm at Sterling-White. A Celebration of Colton’s Life will be held on Thursday, April 17 , 2014 2pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Hovater officiating. Burial will follow at Sterling-White Cemetery.
