Lurene Lamb

Lurene Parrish Lamb, 81, of Highlands, Texas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 22, 2014.  Lurene was born July 24, 1932 in Hortense, Texas to Auburn Parrish and Louada Crawford Parrish.  Lurene was a very positive and happy person who enjoyed fishing, watching wildlife, loved humming birds, traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.  She is preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Linda Parrish; brother-in-law, J. B. Green and son-in-law, Tommy Dean. Lurene is survived by her husband of 50 years, O. C. Lamb; sons: Cecil Lamb and wife Julie; Dane Lucas and wife Phyllis; Relby “Buster” Lamb and wife Susie; Daughter, Margie Dean; grandchildren, Cody Lamb and wife Samantha, Luke and Lauren Lucas, Della and Stella Dean, Kendra and Kelsey Lamb; great-grandchildren, Noah, Nolan and one expected in July; sisters, Dorothy Swonke and husband Clarence, Ruthie Sager, Mary Green and Betty Craig and husband Buddy; brothers, Audrey H. “Tuffy” Parrish and wife Patsy, Aubrey A. “Chubby”  Parrish, Thomas G. ”Bo” Parrish and wife Geenee, Jerry C. Parrish and wife Edie, Joel S. Parrish and numerous nieces, nephews and their spouses and a host of friends.   The family would like to give a special “thank you” to Wendy Pierce for being a wonderful care-giver and friend.
