Cassadie Marie Cook

Cassadie Marie Cook, age 20, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 8, 2017. She was born in Houston, Texas on May 9, 1997 to Carol Ann Grunkemeyer Cook and Stanley Neil Cook. She enjoyed singing, fishing and hunting, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.  She was a very outgoing, happy, generous, caring and loving person who was very bright, beautiful and smart with a funny sense of humor. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert Grunkemeyer and Edith and Basil Cook; and her aunt, Peggy Benfield. Cassadie is survived by her parents, Carol Cook & Sonny Payne and Stan Cook & Maria Dunn; her sister, Misti Cook; her grandmother, Marie Grunkemeyer; her aunts and uncles, John Grunkemeyer (and wife, Kim), Roy Cook (and wife, Teri) and Ester Bearden (and husband, Bob); her cousins, Christine Benfield, Courtney Lively and Blake Pagel. Also survived by numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Proud to serve as honorary pallbearers will be Christian Gestford, Chance Ainsworth, Oran Moore, Trapper Schamp, Tanner Compton and Chandler Varnado.

 A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by services in Sterling White Funeral Home Chapel.
