Connie Sue Hunter

Connie Knowles Hunter was called Home to Heaven on March 16, 2017. She was born on August 22, 1955. Connie was a wonderful wife and mother and was also a strong Christian dedicated to serving Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. She was a vivacious and humorous person who never met a stranger. Connie enjoyed  tending to and caring for her two horses, Bid and Joker and loved them very much. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joe M Knowles.

She is survived by her mother Ginny Knowles; her beloved husband of 37 years Marty Hunter; daughter, Jennifer Barber and son-in-law, Grady Barber; daughter, Summer Hunter and son-in-law, Sean McFatridge and her son, Justin Hunter. She is also survived by her grandchildren Drake, Dylan and Eden Frazier, Gaven Barber, Kaitlyn, Brody, Zach and Ethan McFatridge. Connie leaves behind a brother, Jody Knowles; sister-in-law Glenda, many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm with services immediately following at 2:00 pm at Sterling White Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sterling White Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, Texas 77562.
