James Edward Cathriner

James Edward Cathriner, 61, of Beach City, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. He was born on February 3, 1956 in Baytown, Texas to Edward Stephen Cathriner and Melva Arlene McCarty. He earned his Associates Degree and worked in Construction. He had a great sense of humor and was very caring. James liked to read and spend time with his family. He was a Martial Arts Instructor who taught Kenpo. James will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Stephen Cathriner.

James is survived by his beloved wife, Mona Cathriner; mother, Melva Cathriner; brothers, Stephen Cathriner and Edward Cathriner; sisters, Delane Maddux and Melinda Slay; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Sterling White Cemetery.
