Jason Paul Rowe

Jason Paul Rowe, age 43, went to his heavenly home on Friday, December 22, 2017, after a lifelong battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was born in Houston, Texas, on June 25, 1974. As a senior at J. Frank Dobie High School in 1992, he was selected as one of 21 graduating seniors to receive the Trailblazer Award. After graduating, Jason attended San Jacinto College South. Jason loved spending time with family playing games and passionately following his Houston Texans and Rockets. He also loved spending time with his precious nephew Connor for the past nine months. Jason’s faith in God and love of life was an inspiration to all who knew him. Jason is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Lavoy Curbow. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Sheila Rowe, his brother’s family, Kevin, Nicci, and Connor, his grandmother Mildred Curbow, and his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jason also leaves behind a host of friends including special lifelong friends, Chris Cook and Amber Brannen Allan. He has had many special caregivers through the years, but one man, Alexander Neal, has remained a steadfast caregiver/friend for more than 22 years.

A Celebration of Jason’s life will be held at Sagemont Church, 11300 South Sam Houston Pkwy E, Houston, TX, in the Beltway Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 29. Guests are invited to visit from 12:00 – 12:45 p.m.
