Jeffery Wayne Melvin

Jeffery Wayne Melvin, 46, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. He was born on September 27, 1971 in Baytown, Texas to John Halbert Melvin and Brenda Manthoof Melvin. He graduated from Crosby High School and earned an Associate Degree from Lee College. Jeffery was Senior Commissioning Specialist for CB&I. In his younger years he was known to be smart for sneaking out. He loved working out, cooking, cleaning, and spending time with his son. Jeffery wore his heart on his sleeve. He was a loving father, son, husband, and brother that will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Johnnie Melvin and C.M. and Margie Manthoof.

Jeffery is survived by his wife, Jennifer St.Julian-Melvin; son, Jeffery Dalton Melvin; parents, John and Brenda Melvin; brother and sister-in-law, Tray and Tyree Melvin and their children Brielle, Britt, Brayden and Brynne; sister, Connie Melvin and her son, Brandon Butah (wife, Brittney); stepsons, Brody, Carrington, and Mikail; stepdaughters, Victoria, Juliette, and Zoe.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December 4, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Crosby, 615 Runneburg Rd, Crosby, TX 77532.
