I’m writing this in the memory of my dad, Robert E. Lee, who we lost back in 1980. My dad, and our family, had the greatest respect and admiration for Jimmy as far back as I can remember. Dad and Jimmy grew up together and were as close as cousins could be. I fondly remember all the times when Jimmy, Maudice and the kids (Darrell, Terry, Raye Dean & Dixon) would visit us at our family’s restraunt in Baytown. They were a wonderful loving family and I was so glad to have them as cousins growing up. I remember so much love and care that our families had towards one another and I am sure Jimmy and my dad are reunited and close once again. Mr. Davis, "POP", was one of the most caring gentlemen I have ever met. He deeply loved his wife, children, grand children and his family. He always showed kindness and consideration to people, especially for the youth in the area. And let's not forget his Wonderful PIES! Mr. Davis will certainly be missed by all those who have known him. Rest in PEACE Pop - for now you are with Mrs. Maudice.
