Lila Olaine Pitman

Lila Olaine Pitman age 61, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 29, 2017. She was born in Houston, Texas on June 29, 1956 to Lila Mae Middleton Babineaux and Eural Joseph Babineaux. She enjoyed ceramics and macramé, but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very loving, caring, helpful, happy, cheerful “people” type person who never met a stranger and will always be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Lynn Pitman. Lila is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Ray Pitman Sr.; her son, Michael Ray Pitman Jr. and her grandchildren, Marissa Lynn Cooper and Nathan and Matthew Pitman. Also survived by other relatives and many friends.

 A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Sunday September 3,  2017 from 5:00  p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  Services will be held in Sterling-White Funeral Home on Monday September 4, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held in McKnight Cemetery 972 McKnight Rd.
