Mattie Beatrice (Patrick) Furlow

Mattie Beatrice Furlow, born September 18, 1927, in Gary, TX, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2024, in Baytown, TX. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many.

Beatrice was united in marriage with Franklin Cleo Furlow on January 2, 1946, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Beatrice was a woman of action, finding joy in various pursuits such as church activities, tending to her garden, creating intricate quilts, and sharing her culinary talents with loved ones.

Known for her compassionate nature, Beatrice was always ready to lend an ear or offer a comforting shoulder to those in need. Her warm presence and unwavering support will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Beatrice is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Lee and Nora Patrick, her beloved husband Franklin Cleo Furlow, her daughter Terry Lynn Jones, and her siblings Willie Patrick, Richard Lee Patrick, Walter Patrick, Maggie Seago, and Marie Ogden.

She is survived by her children George Furlow, Mona Wells, and June Domke, along with 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

A final farewell will be held as Beatrice is laid to rest at Sterling White Cemetery in Highlands, TX. May her kind spirit and cherished memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
