Robert L. Smith

Robert Lon Smith III, 42, went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2017. He was born on October 31, 1974 in Lansing, Michigan to Robert Lon Smith, Jr., and Kay Ellen Dunlap. He worked as a Superintendent in the construction industry. Robert was a hard worker who was very strong and giving. He loved his family dearly, especially his children. Robert enjoyed coaching his daughter and his sons special needs team, hunting, and going to church. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Steven Kibbey; uncle, Jim Dunlap; stepfather, Brian Becker; and grandfather, Don Kibbey.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Jodie Smith; son, Parker Smith; daughter, Hannah Smith; mother, Kay Becker; brother, Jason Kibbey; grandmother, Carol Kibbey and a host of extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Crosby Church 5725 U.S. 90 Crosby, Texas.
