I love you, Aunt ChaCha. Thank you for always loving me and being such a beautiful model of family and unconditional love. I love you! I know the Room prepared for you must be so gorgeous and you are with us. You are such a great Aunt and I thank the Lord for being a part of your family. Love, Erica

I could not be more proud to have been named after this woman who stood for family, always. She was the most loving aunt...always inviting me into her home Christmas eve growing up as if I was her very own daughter. My heart is full of a million memories of Garner State Park, my first coffee she made me full of milk and so much sugar, the macaroni and tomatoes she knew I loved, and how tender and sweet she was to tell me she was proud of me. She was the most nurturing woman who put herself second often, always had an open door to her home and to her heart and hug waiting. She was there when I needed her most. She was there when anyone needed her most. I’m thankful for her, and I’m forever proud of her, and I know God is, too. You did such a good job here sweet aunt... thank you love. I love you.
Love Sherri Dawn

All these posters knew Sherry Ann as an adult. I knew her from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. She cut off my eyelashes when we played doctor. Our families had pic-nics in the New Gulf park where we hung long streamers of Spanish Moss on cords around trees to make hide outs. My sister and I played cowboys and Indians with Bubba and K.O. and Dawn and Diane and Sherry while Truman was learning to walk. . We learned to play spin the bottle not long before she moved away. She was always laughing, and. always kind. What good memories of this dear lady! It is all as if yesterday. May God comfort all who loved her..

I first met Sherry (Gammie) when I joined this wonderful family in 2003. She welcomed me with opened arms, from the first day I met her. I learned very quickly that her family was the most treasured gift she had in life. She truly loved her family and friends, always making sure everyone felt loved, cared for and welcomed, no matter the setting. Life will certainly be different now without her, and those visits to the infamous “Griggs Landing” will have an empty void without her presence. But we do have the promise that we will see her again one day, and that’s what we can hold onto. Go rest high on that mountain, Gammie…your work on earth is done. I love you and will miss you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I rejoice in the fact that she is now dancing on streets of gold and God welcomed her into heaven with open arms. I pray for your peace during this time.
Love y’all

God took our sister to be with him in heaven.. She is welcomed by her mother, Grace Horn Gray, her father, Virgil McIntyre Sr., her brothers Virgil McIntyre Jr. and Roy McIntyre, her half-brother Kenny McIntyre and her stepbrothers Rusty Harry and Kenny Harry. We will miss her so much that there are no words to describe it. Our main solace is her four fine sons, each more loving and kind then the other. Their strength will be our strength.
