Alice Hazel Skrabanek

Alice Hazel Skrabanek, 96, of Highlands, Texas, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. She was born November 4, 1925 in Fayetteville, Texas to parents Arthur Roeder and Elizabeth Baumbach Roeder who preceded her in death along with her husband Vernon Skrabanek; sons Kenneth Skrabanek, Donald Skrabanek, and Michael Skrabanek; and her brother Gilbert Roeder.

Alice enjoyed gardening, working at the grocery store, and visiting with friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Alice leaves behind to cherish her memory her children James Skrabanek and wife Mary, Kay Corrigan and husband Howard; sister Earlene Skarpa along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Alice will be held 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Sterling-White Funeral Home, Highlands, Texas. Funeral services will take place 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 3, 2021 at Sterling-White Funeral Home officiated by Brother Jeff Day. Interment will follow in Sterling-White Cemetery.
