Amanda Jean Jordan, 38, of Port Lavaca, Texas, passed away after battling cancer for three years, on Sunday, June 27, 2021. She was born on October 24, 1982 in Pasadena, Texas, and raised in Channelview, Texas, to her parents, Lonnie and Kim Jordan. Family and friends meant everything to Amanda and she truly loved being surrounded by them. She enjoyed doing crafts, just like her Aunt Connie, and loved the beach and nature itself. She had a beautiful smile and never met a stranger. She was a kind soul who was easy to love. In her spare time, she was an active member at Magnolia Beach volunteer fire department. She made such an impact with her time there and loved serving her community. Her number was “63” and will be retired on her birthday.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jim Jordan, and Russell Batchelor; and uncles, Kevin Batchelor, Barry Jordan, and Mark Houle.
Amanda is survived by her parents, Kim and Lonnie Jordan; brother, Lonnie Jordan Jr (Torrie); sister, Amy Jordan; children, Kendall Gregory, Mykayla Gregory, and Kaden Gregory; husband, David Lloyd; inlaws, Bonnie and Houston Banks; grandmothers, Bonnie Seberger, and Sandra Oliver; aunts, Connie Houle, Michelle Black (John), and Cindy Ruddach (Rick); uncle, Kelly Batchelor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life graveside service for Amanda will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Sterling-White Cemetery.
