Amanda Kay Stephenson

Amanda was born April 21, 1983 and passed away September 3, 2020, after a long illness. She is preceded in death by her father Randy J. Stephenson. Grandfather Glen Swett, Grandparents Ruby Stephenson and Al Lassienge. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 20 years Steven Alan Medema and her son, the joy of her life Michael Alan Medema of Highlands, Texas. Her mother Carrie Stephenson of Houston, Texas, her grandmother Mary Lou Herbert of Baytown, Texas and various aunts, uncles and cousins.

Amanda was the kindest, sweetest wife, mother and daughter. She was a true and genuine person who loved the little things in life. She would often remind others around her to do the same. Amanda loves rainy days and to her the perfect day was to get take-out and watch a movie at the house while spending time with her family.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday September 11, 2020 in The Chapel at Sterling~White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road Highlands, Texas 77562. A Funeral Service for Mrs. Amanda will begin at 12:00 pm.
