Andrzej “Andy” Janik passed away surrounded by family in the early hours of Sunday, July 21st 2019. He was born on January 10th 1955 in Potokstan, Poland to Edward Janik and Agnieszka Mroz. He worked for Ingenia Polymens Inc. as an Engineer and Production Supervisor for over 25 years in three different countries and was a valued employee. Andy was an avid reader, reading everything from newspapers to novels. He had a spirit of scientific inquiry spanning from professional problem-solving to discussion of the latest science fiction films. He was also known for his moves on the dance floor. Andy was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Parish. He was a great husband and an all-around family man who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Andy is survived by his wife of 20 years Grazyna Janik; mother Agnieszka Janik; daughters Justyna Janik and Kalina Janik, step-son Jacek Kempinski; grandson Misha Martinez; brothers Peter Janik and Marek Janik; and sister Barb Depater. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Edward Janik and first wife Malgorzata Janik.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, July 29th 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sterling-White Funeral Home.
