Angela Brooke Moncrief Whittlesey, 43, of Mont Belvieu, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky to her parents, James Richard Moncrief and Kathy Renae Flournoy Moncrief on December 31, 1977. Brooke was a Preschool Teacher for Memorial Baptist Church in Baytown, where she was also a member. She had a big heart for children and enjoyed educating them. Brooke was caring and always supportive of others; she was the one that everyone leaned on. Brooke was known for cooking wonderful meals and hosting all the family gatherings at her house. She was always ready to travel and ready to go anywhere. Brooke was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Brooke is preceded in death by her father, James Moncrief.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Brandon Whittlesey; daughters, Tessa and Chloe Whittlesey; mother, Kathy Moncrief; sister, Brandi Baker and husband Ryan; nieces, Makenzi, Lexi, and Fynlee Baker; father-in-law, Robert Whittlesey and wife Bea; aunt, Julie Allen; cousin, Kye Eaton; and a host of extended family and friends.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Beau Thibodaux, Chris Fernandez, Chris Long Jr., Curtis Bruce, Keith Joachim Jr., and Valton Owens, Jr.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 11:00am to 12:30pm on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Memorial Baptist Church, 600 W Sterling Ave, Baytown, TX 77520. Funeral services will begin at 12:30pm. Interment will follow in Sterling White Cemetery.
