Aurelia Bazaldua

Aurelia Bazaldua, 70, of Crosby, Texas went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2021. She was born May 13, 1951 in Anahuac, Nuevo Leon to parents Magdaleno Rodriguez and Belen Lopez.

Aurelia dedicated her life to being a loving and exemplary mother, wife, daughter, aunt, grandmother, sister, and a servant of God. She was always more than willing to help those in need and never doubted  to put everybody else’s needs before hers.

Aurelia was a true servant of God and was a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church where she was part of many ministries. She was on the welcoming committee, organized spiritual retreats, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and a devotee of Rosa Mistica. Aurelia even visited local cemeteries on Monday to pray for the souls of the deceased and also offered counseling to those struggling with their marriages. Aurelia touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.

Aurelia is preceded in death by parents, Magdaleno and Belen Rodriguez; infant daughter, Blanca Esthela Bazaldua; and sister, Teresa Rodriguez.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband with whom she shared 52 years of marriage, Miguel Bazaldua; daughters Veronica Hernandez and husband Juan, Marisol Bazaldua and husband Hector, and Susana Rosas and husband Jose Luis; son, Jose Bazaldua and wife Karina; grandchildren Cristina Mendoza and husband  Adan, Genesis Peña and husband Jose, Carlos and Anahi Hernandez, Joshua and Dylan Benitez, Nicolas Lozano, Ailin Rosas, and Luis Rosas; great-grandchildren Mia, Elise, and Benjamin Mendoza, Leonel, and Levi Peña; siblings, Ana Rodriguez, Hilda Lara, Pedro Rodriguez, Jesus Rodriguez, and Isidro Rodriguez; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 6 pm to 9 pm at Sterling White Funeral Home. Services for Aurelia will be held 9 am Church viewing, 10:30am Rosary, 11am  Mass on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at St. Martins de Porres Catholic Church. Interment to follow in St. Martin de Porres Catholic Cemetery.
