Barbara A Davis

Barbara Ann Davis age 85 , went to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 7, 2018. She was born in Chester, Texas on September 20, 1932 to Maggie Marie Lawrence Powell and Arlie Eugene Powell. She enjoyed gardening, vacationing, swimming and she did a lot of volunteer work, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very sweet, happy, loving, precious lady who loved everyone and would open her home up to all. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred B. Davis and her sisters and brother, Anita Glasgow, Laverne Mahaffey and Glen Powell. 

Barbara is survived by her children, Teri Bogle (and husband, Gary), Rhesa Newton (and husband, Andy)  and Rodney Davis and Catherine Casner; her grandchildren, Airica Hutton, Joshua Newton, Tim Bogle, Theresa Bogle, Dawn Clark, Hunter Davis, Michael Bogle, Michelle Terrill, Colten Davis and Daniel Bogle. Also survived by great-grandchildren, Shelby Jones, Nate Hutton, Brantley Smith and Ava Smith as well as other relatives and many friends.
