Bernadine Turrin

Bernadine Turrin, age 80, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 in Baytown Texas.

Bernie was born to parents Pete Turrin and Ancilla DeVilla on August 27, 1941, in Kokomo, Indiana. She led a devout life and set quite the example for her children to follow showing Unconditional Love to everyone.

Preceding her in death are her loving parents, and sisters Adrianna and Frances.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tina Durant and husband Jay of Crosby, Texas, Russell Krutsinger of Baytown, Texas, Tracy Radcliff and husband Ronald of Pocahontas, Arkansas; Brother, Fabio Turrin, Sisters, Gemma Dunn, Mary Arnold and husband George, six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Working with St. John’s Catholic Church Care Partners Program was one of her greatest passions. Bernie loved to help others and would contribute wherever she saw a need. She enjoyed attending her local community center for fellowship, food and dominoes with her wonderful friends. Bernie had two long standing traditions which included her weekly card games with her friends and her monthly Pokeno games.

Bernadine loved the Lord, people and her family. She has left behind a legacy that has made her family proud.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 26, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road, Highlands, Texas 77562. Services will be Monday, June 27, 2022 at 10:00 AM, taking place at St. John Catholic Church, 800 West Baker Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. Interment to follow at Sterling-White Cemetery.
