Billy George Casey

Billy George Casey went to his Heavenly home on January 18th, 2023.

Billy George Casey was born in Trinity Texas on June 4th, 1929 to Bertha and George Casey.  Billy graduated Robert E Lee High School before joining the Navy and serving 4 years.  Billy then went on to attend Lee College in Baytown before graduating from the University of Houston.  While attending college, Billy began working at Humble Oil and Refinery, better known as Exxon Mobile today.  He started out digging ditches, and eventually worked his way up to becoming an Engineer.  Billy worked at Exxon for 40 years before retiring on July 31st, 1992.  After retirement, Billy moved his family to the Texas Hill Country and worked in real estate for 17 years before moving to Cross Plains, TX.  In 2020 Billy moved to Weatherford, TX.  Billy met Terry Casey and married her on October 20th,1972.  Billy and Terry went on to have 2 children, Billy JR and Chad Casey.  Billy had 2 grandchildren, Haylee and Korbin Casey.  Billy also had a daughter from a previous marriage, Donna Evans.

Billy was an avid hunter and loved Elk hunting in the mountains of Colorado.  Billy was still hunting well into his 80’s and while his love for the outdoors was his passion, he always put God and family first.
