Billy J Monroe

Billy Joe Monroe, 95, of Channelview Texas passed away on Wednesday September 14, 2022.

Billy Joe was born on November 16 1926 in Skirum, Alabama to parents Johnnie and Cittie Monroe.

He left the family farm to move to Texas to work for the Port of Houston.

Billy Joe leaves behind his wife of 72 years Wanda Upton Monroe.  He is preceded in death by his sons Tim and Ricky Monroe.

He will be greatly missed by his children Jeff Monroe (Nancy), David Monroe (Patricia), Rhonda Monroe Hollaway (Forrest ), Diann Monroe Belin, Renee Monroe Walker ( Jeff ) and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, many friends and relatives.

 Visitations will be on Friday September 16 from 5 to 7 PM  at Sterling White Funeral Home.

Family and Friends are cordially invited to attend a service to celebrate his life on Saturday September 17, 2022 at 10 AM at Sterling-White Funeral home, 11011 Lynchburg-Crosby Rd, Highlands, TX.
