Bonnie Sue Pelkey

Bonnie Sue Pelkey, 79, passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018. She was born on October 18, 1938 in Topeka, Kansas to Robert D. Pelkey and Beatrice Elizabeth Row Pelkey. She was a retired accountant for Exxon Mobil. Bonnie was family oriented and enjoyed being surrounded by those she loved. She enjoyed travelling, being observant of hummingbirds and flowers, and watching Wheel of Fortune and 48 Hours. She also loved to read and to play games. Bonnie will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Beatrice Pelkey; sister, Karen Whittier; and brother in law, John Whittier.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Courtenay Gulley and husband Jerrel; grandson, Cody Bijou; granddaughter, Lacey Gulley; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm.
