Brenda Ann Harwell

March 6, 1953 ~ September 27, 2022 (age 69) 69 Years Old

Tribute

With her family by her side Brenda Ann Harwell, age 69, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Brenda was born March 6, 1953 to Dale Stone and Sue Norris.  She was raised in Texas alongside her two brothers whom she loved and adored. Growing up she was always happy and seemed to find a way to make everyone around her feel special.  Her smile and laugh was contagious!

Brenda met her future husband, Larry on a blind date in 1985 at Smithville, Texas.  They were married in 1995.  She spent many years working alongside Larry in the tool business as well as continuously caring for everyone around her.  Larry lovingly supported and encouraged Brenda as her health began to fail.  They were able to spend numerous hours reflecting on their life together.

As a mother and grandmother she was generous, loving, and kind.  She was known to spoil her sweet grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She enjoyed telling stories of all the accomplishments or milestones they reached.

Psalm 43:1 says vindicate me and champion my cause. Brenda Harwell was truly a champion for many!  There were countless times she could have given up but she didn’t.  She suffered heartaches and tragedies but kept persevering!  She kept showing up!  She would have driven to the ends of the earth and back for us….her family.

The most important decision she made in her life was to accept Jesus as her personal Savior.  Because of this decision she now abides in her heavenly home with Jesus.  I’m sure there was a grand reunion when she was reunited with her two babies!  Thank you Lord for our sweet Brenda and most certainly thank you for your word, your hope, and your promises!

Brenda is survived by her husband, Larry Jackson, Crosby, Texas, her son Chris Harwell and wife Beth, San Marcos, Texas; her grandsons, Dustin Harwell, his wife Amanda and their nephew Peyton, Huffman, Texas, Matthew Harwell, Portland, Oregon; her great granddaughters, Emindee Harwell and Izellah Harwell; her nieces, Brandi Stone and daughters Skylar Stone and Taryn Lucky, Roxanne Stone; her nephews, Chad Stone, Gus Stone, wife Mikala, and daughter Adeline.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; son, Matt Harwell, daughter, Tawnya Harwell; brothers, Alan Stone, Steve Stone, and nephews, Blake McCord and Scott Stone.
