Carolyn May Sexson

Carolyn May Sexson, age 91, went to be with the lord on Monday June 10, 2019. She was born in Edmond, Oklahoma on October 22, 1927 to Zelma Catherine Skillern Bright and Guy Edward Bright. She was former owner and operator of Sexson Goodyear Tire Company and enjoyed her work and was employed until her 87th year at Macy’s Department store before retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to Perry’s Point, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Perry David Sexson and her grandson, Michael Perry Hess. Carolyn is survived by her children, Cathy Kojak (and husband, Phillip), Sue Narad (and husband, John), Violet Brabham (and husband, Jim) and Jeanne Roberts (and husband, Chris); her grandchildren, Mark (and wife, Kendra), Cole (and wife Felicia),Jill, Rusty (and wife, Diana), Tammy (and husband, Chris), George, David (and wife, Lindsey) and Shannon (and wife, Kristi); her great-grandchildren, Ashleigh (and husband, Marcus), Breeana, Catherine, Madison (and husband, Mark), Meridith, Brandon, Violet, Avery, Wyatt, Gavin, Jayden and Evelee and her great-great-grandchild, Liam and her brother, Philip Charlton (and wife, Amanda). Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Thursday morning June 13, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by Funeral Services in Sterling-White Funeral Home. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery.
