Cathy Denise Thibodeaux

Cathy Denise Thibodeaux 60, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 29, 2018. She was born on March 20, 1958 in Houston, Texas to Richard Harry Ames, Jr., and Dorlene Carrie Stewart. Cathy married the love of her life on April 22, 1977 and together they were married for 43 years. She loved the outdoors and would enjoy going to the woods to relax while hunting, fishing, and swimming. Cathy was friendly to all and never spoke an ill word of anyone. Cathy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Richard H. Ames, Jr.; brother, Ray Bedgood: sister, Carrie Bedgood; grandparents, Richard H. Ames Sr. and Alyse J. Ames, and Marvin and Jewel Stuart; and father-in-law, Leroy Thibodeaux.

Cathy is survived by her beloved husband, Wayne Thibodeaux; daughter, Carrie Thibodeaux; son, David Thibodeaux and wife Markki; mother, Carrie D. Ames; brothers, Richard Ames and wife Loretta, David Ames and wife Nancy, Robert Ames and wife Bobbie, and Steven Ames and wife Rita; sisters, Laurie Love and husband Victor, and Rebecca Wiggins and husband Jim; sister-in-law, Sandra Thibodeaux; brother-in-law, Malcolm Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Alannah Thibodeaux, Olivia Thibodeaux, and Rebecca Thibodeaux; great-grandchild, Toby; her special yellow lab, Casper; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held from 9:00am to 11:00am on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Sterling White Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am. Interment will be in Sterling White Cemetery.
