Charles Henry “Buddy” Pigott was born July 18, 1935, in Tylertown, MS to Ruby Lee Stevens Pigott and Willie Oscar Pigott. He was the second of four sons, Lance O’Neal, Lewis Cary, & Major Larry. He joined the Army on May 21, 1953, and served until December 10, 1956. He worked in the shipyard in Pascagoula, MS after leaving the Army until he came to Texas in 1963, where he worked in the construction industry, owning his own construction company, and other business ventures. In 2003, health issues forced him into retirement.

In 1983 he was raised a Master Mason through the Cedar Bayou Masonic Lodge #321 in Baytown. He was 32nd degree, York Rite Mason. He became the Worshipful Master of C.A Fortner Masonic Lodge #1304 in Channelview, TX. He was Thrice Illustrious Master of Chapter #481 Lloyd L. Gibson Lodge, Past High Priest of Council #394 Lloyd L. Gibson Lodge, a member of Kenedy Commandry #61, Knights Templar, and member of Arabia Shrine Temple Houston. He was the recipient of the “Golden Trowel Award” He served twice as Worthy Patron of the Cedar Bayou Chapter #11 Order of the Eastern Star.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Brenda Joyce Dunham Pigott, sons Charles H, Jr. and wife Carol; Terry O. Sr. and wife Sheila, Mark S., wife Tamra, daughter Jamie R., and husband Robert O’Connor. Grandchildren Charles H. Stewart and wife Alicia, Terry O. Pigott Jr and wife Misty, Cody Pigott and wife Tina, Ashley Pigott Shafer, Lacey Pigott Clark and husband Chad, Cassie Pigott, Kendra Pigott, Hannah Joyce Pigott Crianza and husband Anthony, Kaitlyn Pigott, Kendall Pigott, Jennifer O’Connor Draughon and husband Matt, Michael Dean Walters and wife Kaityln, Katherine Walters. Great Grandchildren Austin, Chase and Ainslee Stewart, Shayne, Blayke, Trayce, and Makayla Pigott, Austin and Chandler Pigott, Hannah Shafer and Hasten Hager, Cadence, Brandon, and Devon Clark, Raelynn and Madison Crianza; Brothers Lance and wife Faye, Lewis and Larry Pigott, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
