Charlie S Bolton

Charlie S. Bolton, 72, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021, in Houston. He was born on April 6, 1948, in Mobile, Alabama, to the late Spurgeon Bolton and Molly West Bolton. He proudly worked for San Jacinto college in the HVAC department. 

Charlie was a man who pursued many interests, some of which included fixing things, no matter what the object was, working at the college and working in the yard. Anyone who knew him would say he had the most well-kept yard in the neighborhood. Charlie was a hard-working family man. His family was his pride and joy.  Charlie was also an extremely helpful person. He would give a stranger the shirt off his back if that meant he had helped them. 

Charlie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, Uncle, and friend to many who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Sarah Bolton, Agnes Christopher, Louise Kelly, and a brother Jimmy Bolton. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory his beloved wife of 37 years Elia Bolton of Houston, Texas, his children Randy Bolton of Nebraska, Gregory Bolton and wife Shannon of Nebraska, Tonya Bolton of Nebraska, Reynaldo Rios of Houston, Christine Rose and husband Tim of Channelview, Texas; his grandchildren 9 grandchildren; his 8 great-grandchildren; his siblings Mary Saranthus of Mississippi, Ann Shoemaker of Dayton, Texas, Alton Bolton of Dayton, Texas, Mark Hilmen of Pasadena, Linda Armstrong of Pasadena, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 5 pm until 7 pm, in the chapel of Sterling ~ White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, TX 77562. A funeral Service for Mr. Bolton will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at 11 am, with a graveside service to immediately follow in Sterling ~ White Cemetery.
