Christopher Wayne Doss Askew

Christopher Wayne Doss Askew, 18, of Channelview, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018. He was born on July 20, 2000 in Houston, Texas to Tammi Renae Askew. Christopher was a senior at Channelview High School where he played on their Varsity baseball team. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family, friends, and baseball brothers. Christopher touched the lives of many and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Tammi Askew; great-grandmother, Billie Hinton; and great-grandfathers, Ellis Carter, Tommy Askew, and Bob Hinton.

Christopher is survived by his grandparents, Carol and Charlie Askew; great-grandmother, Doris Askew; aunts and uncles, Nikki and Alex Hughes, and Misty Askew and Terry Reed; cousins, Maddie Flores, Chaston Hughes, Auston Hughes, Christian Reed, Caleb Reed, Kaleb Clark, Jordan Askew, and Gabe Askew; niece, Pyper Flores; and a host of extended family and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Alex Hughes, Chaston Hughes, Auston Hughes, Jordan Askew, Hugo Nunez, Mario Nunez, Ervin Quintana, and Kaleb Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Reed, Christian Reed, Caleb Reed, Gabe Askew, and his Team of Brothers.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:00pm.
