Christy Lynn Orn

Christy Lynn Orn, 47, of Crosby, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021. She was born May 22, 1974 in Houston, Texas to parents Jay Dameron Waggoner and Patsy Heying Waggoner. She is preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents Nelda and Carson Heying; paternal grandparents William and Jean Waggoner; and her brother Ronald Waggoner.

Christy was an eccentric, giving person who loved life and always wanted people to have fun. She was a devoted mother and loved her boys dearly; she was always very involved with them and the sports they played over the years. Christy enjoyed the beach and especially liked spending weekends at their beach house with family and friends having fun and creating lasting memories. She was a crafty person who liked making various crafts including custom clothes and shoes. She enjoyed many things in life and was particularly fond of Dr. Pepper and Skittles. She will truly be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Christy leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother Patsy Waggoner; spouse Brian Orn; children Jay Matthys and spouse Hannah, Blane Orn, and Riley Orn; sister Angela Richey and spouse Doug; brothers Alan Waggoner and spouse Joyce, Michael Waggoner; nephews Devin Hinkle and Grant Waggoner; nieces Kaitlyn Richey and Amber Waggoner along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Christy will be held 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 1, 2021 at Sterling-White Funeral Home, Highlands, Texas. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Sterling-White Funeral Home with interment to follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be David Fulcher, Quincey Henderson, Devin Hinkle, David Outlaw, Doug Richey, and Corey Schexnayder.
