Oh my, the picture says everything, I can hear his laughter from it. Our memories of "Rattler" were discussed last night, an it was absolutely hours of laughter, of the times we had with him. His knowledge of law was a lot more than any book you could read. Due to health issues we will be unable to attend the services, but our thoughts, and prayers are with each of you at this difficult time, let Our Heavenly Father turn your tears into smiles and laughter of the many precious memories, R.I.P. "Rattler" you definitely will be missed !!

Clarence was like a 2nd father to me in the early years of my career. He chose me to be one of the first 16 or so deputies to be the 1st Sheriff's substation at the Marine Building in La Porte and then at Baytown PD. There are so many fond memories of him and he was truly a "people" person. If he liked you-you knew it. And if he did not like you- you also knew that. I will miss the good times we had. Rest in peace my brother-JJ
