Tribute

Clarence “Pete” O’Neil Waterloo- age 74 passed away at his home July 21, 2019. Pete was born September 18, 1944 in Macon, Mississippi the son of the late Joseph Waterloo and Ruby McArthur Waterloo. Pete was a self-employed contractor owning and operating T-P Construction. He enjoyed listening to country music and restoring old tractors, especially John Deere Tractors. He had a passion for fishing, rabbit and squirrel hunting, sometimes even duck. He also liked having a garden, cows, chickens, as well as a few horses. Some of his favorite activities was getting together with family and friends playing poker and dominos. He was preceded in death by his parents as well as his daughter Carrie Hollis and great grandson, Hunter Scott. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of forty-three years Evelyn Waterloo, son James Malac (Rebecca), daughters Jenny Prasek (James), Roxane McGowan (David), Kay Waterloo, Sharon Hanel (Johnny), and a son, Michael Waterloo (Amanda). In addition, Pete leaves a brother Wayne Richards, sister Shirley Alexander, sixteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. Pete will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation for Pete will be held from 9:30 –11AM Saturday, July 27, 2019 with funeral services to begin at 11AM at Sterling White Funeral Home Chapel, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562.
