Claudia Yvonne Bean

Claudia Yvonne Bean, 78, formally of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020, in Carthage, Tennessee. She was born on January 16, 1942, in Saint Augustine, Texas, to the late Luther Carrell and Sarah Smith Carrell. She attended Buna High School. Before moving to Tennessee Yvonne was a faithful member of First Apostolic Church in Highlands, Texas.

Yvonne was a person who pursued to many interests, some of which included flower gardening, doing crafts, and sewing. She was an outgoing person who never met a stranger. Her favorite past time was chatting with strangers as she stood in line at the grocery store. Yvonne was a caring person who would give her shirt off her back to help someone in need. One of her passions in life was going to church. That is what she looked forward to the most. She was a devoted wife and mother as well.

Yvonne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many who knew her. She was preceded in death her parents; her siblings Lutherine Stroud, Bennis Carrell, Allen Carrell and MC Carrell; her sister in law Linda Carrell and her brother in law Charles Stroud. She leaves behind to cherish her loving memory her beloved husband Daniel Bean of 59 years of Watertown, Tennessee; her children Danny Michael Bean and wife Julie of Watertown, Tennessee, Darrell Bean and wife Annette of Baytown, Texas, Dana Harvey and husband Brett of Watertown, Tennessee, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 9 am until 10 am, at First Apostolic Church, 1211 South Main Street, Highlands, Texas 77562. A funeral service for Mrs. Bean will begin at 10 am with Rev. Tommy Jackson officiating. A burial will immediately follow in Sterling ~ White Cemetery, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas 77562.
