Tribute

Daniel DeLuna, 60, of Webster, Texas passed away with his loving family by his side on Monday, May 3, 2021. He was born on December 13, 1960, in Robstown, Texas to the late Frank DeLuna and Aurora Rojas DeLuna. He graduated in 1979 from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas.

Daniel was a man who had a wonderful sense of humor. He also pursued many interests, some of which included his love for all sports (golf being his favorite), cooking and BBQing for his family and friends and listening to music; specifically Tejano and old Rock & Roll. As a child he played Little League Baseball which started his love for softball, as an adult he played on a local team. Daniel had a passion for the Astros. He and his wife were avid game goers where he loved to watch them in action. Daniel was a hard working family man who always ensured his family was well taken care of. He was a laid back person who was never in a hurry and always just went with the flow of things. Daniel was also slow to anger no matter how much someone tried. If one were asked, they would say that he was a gentle bear who was never without a smile. Daniel was a very social man who never met a stranger. He was an amazing brother to his two sisters and baby brother.

Daniel was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Aurora DeLuna and his granddaughter Lauryn Garcia. Daniel leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his beloved wife of 14 years, Kris DeLuna of Webster, Texas; his children, Diana Delgado and husband Salvador of Kingwood, Texas, Jessica DeLuna of Austin, Texas, Justin DeLuna and wife Lora of Portland, Texas, their mother Ida DeLuna, Marcus Bullard and wife Shelby of Madisonville, Texas, Eric Davila and wife Star of Webster, Texas, Araceli Tran and husband Michael of Katy, Texas, Melissa Garcia and husband Tino of Houston, Texas, Andria Davila of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Irma Tyler and husband Bobby of Baytown, Texas, Stella DeLuna of Houston, Texas, David DeLuna and wife Aurora of Houston, Texas; his 16 grandchildren; his nieces, Ashley Valliant and husband Miles of Austin, Texas, Marissa DeLuna of Houston, Texas; his nephew, Brian Tyler of Waco, Texas and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
