Darryl Glen Lusk age 74 of Highlands, went to be with the Lord on Thursday October 18, 2018 surrounded by family. He was born on September 30, 1944 in Baytown, Texas to Betty Darline Hopkins Lusk and Robert Wesley Lusk. He enjoyed fishing (off shore and fresh water) and hunting but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very handsome, dependable, hard working person who was a wonderful husband and family man who had a heart of gold and will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Darryl worked as a Master plumber, Union #68 for many years. He was a proud member of Sampson Masonic Lodge #231, where he was a Master Mason. He put pride into all that he did for his family and others. He was known by many for his caring ways and great life stories and he offered so many inspirational words of wisdom.
He is preceded in death by his parents; His brother, Bill Dinsmore; his sister, Betty Donaldson; his grandson, Eddy Hinojosa and his son-in-law, John Pollard.
Darryl is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Ann Beene Lusk; his children, Penny Stefanski (and husband, Jim), Cheryl Pollard, Rhonda Ball (and husband, Marion); his brother and sister, Johnny Lusk and Barbara Aker; his grandchildren, Nikki West, Brent Lara (and wife, Monie ), Sara Hazzard (and husband, Mario), Alyssa Stefanski, and Mason and Chase Ball; his great-grandchildren, Cameron, Madilyn, Natalie, Lexi, Levi, Javier, Mario Jr., Yvette, Lynzie , Zaiden and his K-9 buddy, Lil Rascal Lusk. Also survived by other relatives and many friends.
