David Franklin Haynes, 79, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Winfred Raymond Haynes and Mary Katherine Brooks Haynes. David was a hardworker and was very generous with others. He loved travelling and shopping with his wife, Cira. David had a passion for life, and was known for his kindness and love of life with a compassionate spirit. He enjoyed social gatherings and fishing, in particular. He enjoyed having coffee and stimulating conversation with his Brother Tom and Sister-in-law Tina. David enjoyed watching football and the daily news. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Winfred and Mary Haynes; brothers, Bill Haynes and Charles Haynes; and sister-in-law, Rosie Haynes.
David is survived by his wife of 7 years, Cira Haynes; brothers, Tom Morris Lee Haynes and wife Ernestina Alvarez Haynes; daughter, Artemisa Conner; many nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be, Carlos De La Rosa, Brian Haynes, Chris Haynes, Thomas Haynes, Mark Haynes, and Dexter Conner.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 25, 2019, from 9:00am to 11:00am at Sterling White Funeral Home. A Celebration of David’s Life will begin at 11:00am. Arrangements are entrusted to Sterling-White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, Texas.
