David Mark McConathy

David Mark McConathy, 67, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018. He was born on May 12, 1951 in Houston, Texas to Woodrow Wiley McConathy and Lillian McConathy Seale. He was a retired Process Technician after working for Bayer Chemical Plant. Mark loved to serve others and was a volunteer at his church at Second Baptist and for the American Red Cross. Mark enjoyed picking pecans and blackberries, gardening, and watching the Houston Astros. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow McConathy and Lillian Matherne McConathy Seale.

Mark is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sheryl; daughter, Sara McConathy and Lloyd Finckbone Jr.; daughter, Amy McConathy; sister, Melanie Cashat; two nieces; four nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am.
