Dena Fay Stone passed away on Saturday January 1, 2022 at 60 years of age. Dena was born on February 26, 1961 in Houston, Texas to James Edward Strange and Alice Fay Strange. She was the youngest of 4 children with three older brothers that adored her. She lived her entire life in the Sheldon/Crosby area attending school at Sheldon and CE King. Dena enjoyed fellowship and would often surround herself with family, friends and friends that were her family. She enjoyed lots of different hobbies in life that included listening to music, dancing, going to the beach, cooking, watching movies, doing yardwork and projects around her house. Dena took pride in herself and anything she was involved in and it showed. Being a Mom and a Nanna was her biggest and most favorite accomplishment. She loved her two daughters with her whole heart. She was extremely proud of all her grandchildren and was the happiest when she was being loved on by them. You can see a little bit of her in each of them. She was excited about her future and was the best version of herself and living her best life. Dena was an admiral and respected lady. She was funny with an infectious laugh that will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Dena was known as a compassionate and kind spirit that you could trust and count on. She loved to enjoy life and everything it had to offer. She was a thoughtful, loyal and an honest friend to so many. She was simply just beautiful. She will be extremely missed by all. Although we know that we can’t have you here on this earth with us we find comfort knowing that our family’s angels have you home with them. We love you and will miss and cherish you always.

She is proceeded in death by her Dad, Mom, Brothers James Edward Strange and Richard Doyle Strange, Aunt Shirley and Uncle Kenny Turberville and Grandma Sandy Sanderford.

She leaves behind to honor and cherish her loving memory her Brother Ronnie Strange, Daughters Sheila Womack and Shaina Wilson, Son In Laws Shawn Womack and Matthew Wilson, Granddaughters Jadyn Parkinson, Carly Paschke, Kaitlynn Wilson and Emily Womack, Grandsons Tyler Wilson and Mize Womack, Great Granddaughter Zoey Womack, Step Father Joe Humphries, and her Nieces and Nephews, Marci Gonzales, Lynda Strange, Butch Strange, Ricky Strange, Laura Streeter, Shelbi Strange, Taylor Strange-Freeze, Sydney Strange and Brandy Donahue.

Friends and Family are invited to attend Viewing Service on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 5pm-8pm and her Funeral Service on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10 am in the Chapel of Sterling-White Funeral Home at 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road Highlands, Texas 77562. Graveside Service will follow at San Jacinto Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 14659 East Freeway Houston, Texas 77015.
