Dennis David Klecha, a native Detroiter (also resided in Highland Twp., MI), passed away at age 60 at his home in Huffman, TX on Monday August 27, 2018. He was born on May 16, 1958 to Irene Rose Ptasinski Klecha and Joseph John Klecha. A graduate of “Our Lady Queen of “ Chadsey High School (as he called it) in 1976, Dennis had a lifelong love of music. He was a talented bass player and inspired others with his passion for the craft and loved to have jam sessions with his friends. He was an expert in all things classic cars, flowers, and all types of music. He loved to be outside fishing, gardening, walking his dog Roxie, or just riding his mower around the neighborhood. But most of all, Dennis loved his wife of 36 years, his daughter, and his family. He was known for his booming laughter, unique style, outgoing nature, and sense of humor.
Dennis is now at rest with his parents; his sister, Dorothy Moreau; and his brothers-in-law, Charlie Maroulis and Jeff Ramey.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sallie Ann Klecha; his daughter, Sabrina Ann Klecha; his sister-in-law Susan (Kerry) Kohl; sister-in-law Shirley Maroulis; mother-in-law Roberta Clay-Ramey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, TX, on September 4, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., followed by services in Sterling-White Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be private.
