Don Howard Vann

Don Howard Vann, 84, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021 in Houston, Texas. He was born September 15, 1936 in Taylor, Texas to parents Harrell H. Vann and Ruby C. Christianson Vann who preceded him death along with his sister, Barbara Faye Vann. 

Don was a God fearing, devout Christian man who was knowledgeable about the Bible and had a scripture for everything anyone went through. Mr. Vann was a hardworking man who owned several businesses in his life time. He enjoyed fishing, building model airplanes, as well as flying the planes he owned. Of his many passions in life, his family was his favorite. Don always had a very close knit relationship with his sons no matter how far in distance they may have been.

Don leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Don Vann, Jay Vann, and Charles Vann; grandchildren, Andrew Vann, Eric Vann, and Lanette Vann along with numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the chapel of Sterling~White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby Lynchburg Rd, Highlands, Texas 77562. A funeral service for Mr. Vann will begin at 2:00 pm in the chapel with burial immediately following in Sterling~White Cemetery.
