Doris Ruth Roach

Doris Ruth Roach age 89, went to be with the Lord on Friday September 22, 2017. She was born in Huntsville, Texas on July 22,1928 to Celia Pool Jackson and James Andrew Jackson. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and cooking but most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very giving, sweet, friendly , honest, outgoing and hard working person who will be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl R. Roach. Doris is survived by her children,Donald E. Roach (and wife, Trudy) and Janet Ladner (and husband, Mike); her grandchildren, Nathan Ladner, Natalie West and Kimberly Stewart and her great-grandchildren, Cole and Parker De lay and Eddison West. Also survived by other relatives and many friends.

 A visitation for family and friends will be held  at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Wednesday September 27, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.,  Services will be held in Sterling-White Funeral Home on Thursday September 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Sterling-White Cemetery.
