Earnest A. Strokos Sr.

Earnest Allen Strokos Sr. of Highlands, Texas was called to heaven on June 30, 2020 in Belton, Texas. Earnest was born to Frank and Mary Strokos on July 25, 1946. He attended Robert E. Lee High School where he graduated on May 27, 1966. Earnest was a very loved father and Pawpaw. Earnest never met a stranger he loved and helped everyone. Earnest was a very hard worker, for several year with the water company in Highlands and after he started working for himself as a plumber. He knew exactly what he was doing.  Earnest loved his family first and foremost.

Earnest is preceded in death by his mom and dad, his 9 brothers and sisters, and 5 step-brothers and step-sisters.

Earnest is survived by his brother, Richard Strokos whom he was very close to; daughter, Billie Joe Strokos Boswell of Belton, Texas; son, Earnest Allen Strokos Jr. and wife Tammy Strokos of Wallisville, Texas; grandkids, Andrew Knapp, Ashley Knapp, Matthew Knapp, Davieon Strokos of Wallisville, Texas, Tamara Lewis, Thomas Lewis of Belton, Texas; great-grandkids, Ansleigh Greb of Wallisville, Texas, Trinity Joe Lewis and Emersyn Reene-Joe Lewis of Belton, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Richard Strokos, Earnest Strokos Jr., Thomas Lewis, Charles Brown, Andrew Knapp, and David Ramirez.

A visitation for Earnest will be at Sterling-White Funeral Home & Cemetery, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Road in Highlands, Texas on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A service will start at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Sterling-White Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Sterling-White Cemetery.
