Edward Louis Myzell, 75, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019. He was born on September 22, 1943 in Anahuac, Texas to Louis Myzell and Myrtle Watson Myzell. Edward retired from the Hightower Unit in Dayton, TX for TDCJ. Prior to that he worked for US Steel and as a rice farmer. In his younger years, he loved to go hunting and fishing. Edward was a simple man, with a good sense of humor, that enjoyed playing dominos and being with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Myzell and Myrtle Watson Myzell; and son Edward Myzell, Jr.
Edward is survived by his wife, Joan Myzell; daughter, Susan Haskin, her husband Emmitt; son, John Myzell; step-son, Russell Wilder. Grandchildren, Whitney Sinquefield and husband David, Hunter Haskin; great-grandchildren, Emma Sinquefield and Jaxson Sinquefield. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
The Myzell family will be present to receive friends and family from 10am to 11am on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Sterling White Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 11:00am.
