Tribute

Evania Leen Hinton, 62, of Crosby, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021. She was born on September 14, 1958, in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents Ellis Carter and Billie McCullough Carter who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Bobby Hinton; brothers, Jimmy Placker and Oscar Placker; nieces, Tammy Askew and Danielle; and great-nephew, Christopher Askew.

Bonnie or mom to more than just her own kids. Being a stay at home mom who had a big heart and loved able to help anybody that needed a place to stay made her happy. She didn’t turn anyone away. She even gained some bonus kids from it. Her grandbabies and dogs meant more than anything in the world to her. She would do anything for any of them.

When she was younger she loved going out with her friends dancing, they would always go to The Stomp. She loved to watch the sci-fi channel and horror movies and any Steven King suspense novel or murder mystery book. You name it, she probably read it. Bonnie grew up being around horses and loved horseback riding…even after she broke her neck when she got thrown off a horse and to wear a halo for what seemed like forever.

She was loved by so many people and will most definitely be missed more than any of us could imagine.

Evania leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Mary Hinton and Amy Barton; son, Jacob Hinton; bonus kids, Kevan Sailors, Lanelle DeeDee Seale; grandchildren, Tayah Simmons, Kylee Simmons, Gracee Breanne Simmons, Dylan Padgett, Taylor Barton, and Jesse Barton; bonus great-granddaughter, Gracee Mae; sister, Carol Askew and husband Charlie; brother, Michael Placker; and numerous great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
