Flora Belle Daigle

Flora Belle Daigle, 92, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in La Porte, Texas. She was born on September 24, 1927 in Jasonville, Indiana to Solon Marcelle Shepherd and Nancy Melinda Nicholson Shepherd. She was a wonderful mother to her six children. Mrs. Daigle went to Durham Business College and worked as a secretary for the Department of Nursing for San Jacinto College. She was a great cook, loved music, and enjoyed tapdancing and sewing. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Raymond L. Anderson and Robert J. Daigle; and parents, Solon and Melinda Shepherd.

Flora is survived by her husband, Ross Langham; children, Richard Anderson, Cheryl Johnson and husband Edward, Patricia Pate, Anita Marie Anderson, Nancy J. Holmes and husband Chris, and Jeanne Kathryn Lyng and husband Kevin; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. at Sterling White Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, Texas 77562.
