Freddie Hollingsworth

Freddie Kay Hollingsworth of Highlands, Texas went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2017.  Freddie was born on November 12, 1952 in Palestine, Texas to Donald and Hazel McMinn.  Freddie worked as a paraprofessional for Crosby ISD and in her free time she enjoyed gardening, helping grandkids with their FFA projects and most of all spending time with her family and friends.  Freddie was a very fun loving, spunky and caring woman, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.  She is preceded in death by her father, Fred McMinn and mother, Hazel Kinnard.  Freddie is survived by her loving husband, Rusty Hollingsworth; daughter, Kasi Bullington; son, Donald Craig Spencer and wife Danielle; daughter, Haylee Files and husband John; sister, Donna Pilgrim and husband Hal; brother, Randy McMinn and wife Linda; 7 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, “adopted grandkids” and friends.  A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at Sterling-White Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2017 3pm at Cooper, Bates & Sloan Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Texas with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant.  In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Freddie’s memory to the Susan G.
