Fritz Rabin ("Mickey") Gaedchens JR

Fritz (Mickey) Rabin Gaedchens Jr., 83, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. Fritz was born on November 21, 1938 in Biloxi, Mississippi to his parents Fritz Rabin Gaedchens Sr. and Mildred Bosarge.

He grew up in the commercial shrimping industry and was very successful at it and continued on into his adulthood, and this is where his love for fishing started and lasted throughout his life. While dating Virginia, they enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle in Brownsville, Tx. In the early 1980’s they started their own trucking business in Houston and settled in Channelview, Tx.  Fritz was very musically inclined and loved singing and playing country music with his guitars and was always happy to sit with friends and family and tell a few jokes over a cup of coffee.  Mickey was an amazing man who will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fritz Rabin Gaedchens Sr. and Mildred Bosarge; his brother Herman Gaedchens and his sister Janice Gaedchens.

Fritz is survived by his wife of 63 years, Virginia Gaedchens; his brother Everett Gaedchens; son Chris Gaedchens and wife Angela; his daughter Laura Gaedchens; his grandchildren Christopher Shayne and Casey Lynn Gaedchens, Eric Barton, Amanda Goodson, and his great-grandchildren Savannah and Trevor Miller, Brooke Goodson, Kyleigh, Kyler and Kollin Barton.
