Glenda Kaye Prewitt

Glenda Kaye Prewitt- age 73 passed away suddenly July 19, 2020 in Wyoming. Glenda was born December 23, 1946 in Tomball, Texas the daughter of the late Cody Burgin and Louise Walker Burgin. Glenda was an active and devoted member of the Highlands Church of Christ where she also taught Sunday School. She worked as homemaker, contractor in the Oil and Gas Industry, and in the funeral industry. She was a graduate of Channelview High School class of 1965 and went on to attend Abilene Christian. She enjoyed reading novels, word searches, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as a brother Kenny Burgin. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of forty-four years Carroll Prewitt, son Collin Prewitt, and a daughter Courtney Morgan (Matthew). In addition she leaves her seven grandchildren, Kayla Daniels (Logan), Cody, Kenzie and Bailee Prewitt, and Rachel, Lauryn, and Luke Grubbs. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service for Glenda will be held 11AM Saturday at Highlands Church of Christ, 214 Clearlake Rd. Highlands, Texas 77562.
