Grady Louis Ramsey JR

Grady Louis Ramsey Jr. age 90, went to be with the Lord on Friday May 18, 2018.  He was born in Waller, Texas on February 3, 1928 to Erma Lorene Mathis Ramsey and Grady Louis Ramsey Sr. He enjoyed  hunting, fishing, pitching horseshoes amd pitching silver dollars, was very good with woodworking and building bird houses but most of all, he enjoyed teaching the gospel and spending time with his  family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very wonderful, simple, honest, self-taught and self-made man who always kept his word and stood up for the truth. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers and two sisters.  . 

Grady is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Joan Hamer Ramsey; his children, Monte, Ronald, Steven and Jo Denise Gerza, one brother and two sisters. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Sterling-White Funeral Home 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd. Highlands, on Sunday afternoon May 20, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Services will be held on Monday morning May 21, 2018  in Sterling White Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held in Giddings Cemetery  886 W.
