Herbert “Cowboy” Jarmon Sr. age 68, went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 12, 2019. He was born in LaGrange, Texas on August 13, 1950 to Helen Truesdale Jarmon and Herman Jarmon. Herbert was a professional truck driver for 30+ years. He enjoyed playing his guitar and singing country music, trail riding and BBQ cookouts but most of all spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a very friendly person, who made friends with all, always helpful to anyone in need, always happy and smiling. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his “Ma Polly” and James East (great grandparents); Ezell and Leon Truesdale (grandparents); W.H. and Corrine Jarmon (grandparents); Herman Jarmon and Helen McDaniel (parents); Hope Jarmon- Anderson (sister); Ester Jarmon and David McDaniel (step-parents); Paul Bradley, Jr. (grandson) and Tatonya Bradley (granddaughter).
Cowboy is survived by his beloved wife, Mary L. Colomb-Jarmon after 42 years of Sacred Marriage; his children, Tammy Bradley, Sadie Leno, Herbert Jarmon Jr. and Kenneth Jarmon; his daughter/granddaughter, Ebonie Carter; his grandchildren, Xavier Leno, Kennedy and Kennethia Jarmon. Also, survived by four great-grandchildren Kyli Carter, Raelin Johnson, Leah Shelton and Genesis Leno; his sibling: Linda Jarmon, Deborah Henderson, Janice Allen (John), Tamika Zamora (Arturo), Thomas McDaniel (Debbie), Stewart McDaniel (Karen) and David McDaniel. Also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
